December 24th, Movie Night

Ham and Queso de Bola Wraps

We decided to have a “movie night” while waiting for Christmas eve. I closed the shop at around 5pm and turned it into a small movie theater. Sis downloaded some horror and Christmas flicks which are certified hit with the kids.

 Cocktail Hotdog and Cucumber Stars
Sis and I prepared some snacks for the kids and the adults alike. It was almost gone the minute the movie started. Nobody wanted to to turn off the lights because they can’t see what they were eating.
Fruits Skewers and Belgian Chocolate Dipping Sauce
We tried turning the lights off for a few minutes when the movie started. Somebody ate a hotdog but didn’t eat the star cucumber it came with. This somebody left it in the fruit plate and since the light was off and it was dark, I thought it was an apple. I dipped it in the chocolate sauce and ate it. It was too late to spit it out. It was my first ever chocolate covered cucumber……hahahaha.
Bacon-wrapped Dates with Cream Cheese Stuffing

This is one of my favorite appetizers. One can never-ever go wrong with bacon-wrapped anything

Breaded Fish Fillet Strips with Tartar Sauce
Crispy fish nuggets! This is the first to go among our snacks.
Fruit Cake
We just bought this fruit cake and it wasn’t as yummy as my mom’s..
Chips and Rotel Velveeta Cheese Dip
Our usual snack of choice aside from buttery popcorn.
OF course we downed them all with some citrus-y soda.
We were so full way before Christmas dinner.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
