Iced Peppermint Mocha & Iced Toffee Nut Latte
It’s always nice to try out the seasonal drinks and pastries of Starbucks during the holidays. They may not have the eggnog lattes and the pumpkin cheesecake that thay have in Starbucks US but they definitely have a delicious array of pastries and drinks that we’ve come to love.
We had this coffee a few weeks ago. After an event Rome and I went to, we met my sister Anney and my daughter ykaie for coffee before finally heading home. Rome had Iced Peppermint Mocha and I had the Iced Toffee Nut Latte. I wasn’t able to take a photo of sis’s drink which is the Java Chip Frappuccino, though.
Almond Roca Cheesecake
Then we shared this cheesecake and the pasta salad below. It’s nice to have coffee and just talk sometimes. Aside from the usual gossiping, which we love, it’s also nice just hang-out. Sis used to hate “just hanging-out”. She’s always on the go and is easily bored.
Pesto Pasta Salad
We talked about what we’ll do this Christmas. The gifts that we’ll give to nieces, nephews and godchildren. Sis even asked Rome to take a photo of this shirt he wants for Christmas..lol! Then I told them about my plan of renovating our room early next year. I asked their opinion about tinting our room windows. I want it to be much more comfortable specially in the coming summer. Our room is very open to direct sunlight. It tends to be very hot in our room during the summer.I’ve read about a company that provides the most superior window tint indianapolis has ever known. They also provide this Solar Film that blocks 99.9% of the harsh UV rays from the sun and makes the room cooler too!
Sis and Rome both thought that its a great idea.
