Yesterday, we had Thanksgiving lunch at my aunt’s house.Well, we don’t really celebrate Thanksgiving here but, I guess, since she’s from the US, she does. I think it’s really good practice since we’re just really giving thanks for all the blessings we’ve received and for a bountiful year.
Aside from not being available in our regular supermarkets and wet markets, Turkey is a bit expensive. I checked some high-end markets for frozen Turkey and the price was P1500 -P2000 {more or less $47}. This is something that you won’t take out of your normal budget. So we had Roasted chicken, instead.
The chicken was roasted in the Turbo broiler.
Ingredients:
1 whole Chicken,washed and cleaned
salt and pepper
garlic powder
calamansi juice
steak seasoning
*we couldn’t find any stuffing so, we put sliced hotdogs..LOL!
Direction:
- Rub the chicken with salt and pepper, garlic power, calamansi juice and steak seaoning, then put the sliced hotdogs inside.
- Roast for 30-40 minutes.
