Amici Restaurant

Believe me, I really really want to cook something but I lack the time and the energy to do it. I have recipe after recipe after recipe all lined-up. Well,I guess they just have to wait. The mind is willing but the flesh is weak.

Yesterday, I accidentally stepped into a mouse who, I think, bit me. I have to close my shop and run at the hospital to get some shots. After two painful shots, I decided I don’t wanna open my shop and just go out and relax a bit. So I did and had a little retail therapy.

Amici Restaurant
 Chorizo e Spinaci Pizza
Spanish Chorizo and Spinach.

Some window shopping and a little shopping put us in the mood for Italian. And so our feet took us to Amici. It was our first time there and the staff were really friendly. The pizza was also good.

I think this is because it was cooked in their wood burning brick oven.

Spinach Fusilli Montanara
Home made pasta in tomato sauce and Italian sausages

This was one of the other table’s order and sis thought it looked delicious so we ordered the same. We weren’t able to finish it so we took the leftover home and had it for breakfast this morning. Funny, it tastes so much better today.

Linguine al Prosciutto e Tartufo
a flavorful combination of prosciutto, truffle oil, porcini and shitake mushrooms

It’s always an oil-based pasta for my little girl. This one I love. I can already smell the truffle oil the moment it was served. I just wish there were more mushroom slices.
