I made some skewers today… I’m sure you can find one stick in there that has your name on it.

Yeah, I know it doesn’t look much. But it’s really good. I promise.

I may have overcooked it, though so don’t expect too much. I should have grilled it on live charcoal but I got lazy.I admit it. I got lazy and grilled these in the oven.

One more thing I should have done is… get some of those metal skewers used for kabobs…. these bamboo sticks are too thick and are tearing the mushroom halves apart. Well, there’s always a next time…

I used Schublig sausages for my recipe today. Schublig is a kind of sausage traditionally from Switzerland. It is a smoked sausage and made with pure beef.

Ingredients:
Sausage slices
8 white mushroom {you can choose to slice it in half or skewer it whole}
2 pcs red onions, quartered
¼ cup olive oil
2 tbsp chopped parsley
salt and pepper
2 cloves garlic

Directions:

  • In a small bowl, grate garlic cloves.
  • Add salt and pepper, chopped parsley and olive oil. Mix well and set aside.
  • Put slice sausages, mushrooms and onions in a large bowl.
  • Pour in the olive oil marinade.
  • Make sure the sausage, mushroom and onion pieces are coated with it. Let it stand in the fridge for at least an hour.
  • Grill on live charcoal or the oven until cooked.
