When I first visited Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken, I already loved the flavor of the chicken. This time, not only was the ambience better, they also have a refillable beverage and soup promo for only P49 {$1.08}. You can avail of this promo only if you order a chicken meal.
The order counter was converted into a Soup/Beverage bar. There was only one kind of soup which is Mushroom Soup but there were a lot of choices for the beverage. There were different kinds of Sodas, Strawberry Iced Tea, Lemon Iced Tea, Water and Coffee.
The Peri Peri Chicken is trimmed of excess fat and charcoal grilled which reduces its fat content and gives it a smoky flavor. This makes for a healthier alternative than other roasted chickens.
There are three flavors to choose from: lemon & garlic, mild and spicy flavor.
Peri-Peri, Piri-piri or Peli-peli is the name used to describe the bird’s eye chili discovered by the Portuguese explorers in Africa hundreds of years ago.It’s a small and extremely spicy variety of chili that is the secret ingredient in Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken.
I ended the meal with a cappuccino..Ykaie watched Shrek while having her meal. Everyone had their tummy full. Dinner was awesome.
