Iced Coffee with Coffee Jelly

It’s Summer and it’s hot. I’m also sleepy most of the time and its too hot to have coffee..

The nearest coffee shop is too dang far. So, tell me, is there a better way to beat summer heat than this??

Can you imagine drinking ice cold coffee and chewing chewy coffee jelly bits? I’m sure you already want a glass.

Ingredients:
1 pack unflavored gelatin [I used Alsa]
5 tbsp instant coffee
1 tbsp sugar
1½ cup condensed milk
4 tbsp creamer
1 cup hot water
3 cups cold water
lots of ice

Direction:

  • Mix 1½ tbsp instant coffee and sugar with gelatin before cooking. Add only half of the water needed to cook it and then cook according to package directions. Let cool to set and cut into little pieces.
  • In a pitcher, combine 3½ tbsp instant coffee, condensed milk and creamer. Stir until it’s dissolved.
  • Pour in cold water and add lots of ice.
  • Serve in a glass and then put coffee jelly bits on top.

Happy Start of the week everyone!
