WOW! It’s been almost a week of not posting anything but forgive me. It is, after all, my birthday week and today is the BIG day. I’ll be off to dinner with peanutbutter♥, Sis and some cousins later to I-don’t-know where yet but I’ll be treating them to somewhere nice.
I would like to start posting some Holiday Gift Ideas from the Kitchen, you know, just in case you want to give a friend something personalized or something you made yourself. And I would like to start with the classic. This is everyone’s favorite drink when it gets a little chilly– Hot Chocolate.
I think this is a very simple yet stylish gift and very easy to do too.
Ingredients:
¾ cup sugar
¾ cocoa powder
¾ powdered milk
1/3 tsp salt
½ cup chocolate chips
½ mini marshmallows
Directions:
- Get a clear jar that would fit all the ingredients.
- Layer up sugar, cocoa powder, powdered milk, salt, chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
- Put a label or a tag that says “Hot Cocoa or hot Chocolate” and design the jar with ribbons.
- At the back of the label, write instructions on how to make hot chocolate. For this recipe, its “Combine the ingredients in a large bowl. For every cup of hot water, mix in ¼ cup of hot chocolate mix. Stir and enjoy”
an entry for . Have a great weekend!
