These are mini- pancakes sold on the streets by a man in trike. Like the mobile pizza, they also roam the streets in search of customers. They also sell juice with the pancake so you won’t need to look for a drink in case you need it.
These mini pancakes are around 2 inches in diameter. They are made of flour, sugar, milk, water and a few drops of yellow food color. Sold for P1.00 each, they will spread a thin layer of margarine and dip both sides in sugar before putting in a small plastic bag and handing it out to you.
Purple is carrying two pieces of hotcake..
The pancake vendor prepared hotcakes ahead of time because children will be out from school soon and he will be selling these pancakes just outside the school.

Thanks for the ingredients!! I’ve been trying to make this by adjusting usual pancake recipes, no wonder none of them tasted the same. The measurements I used where 1 cup flour, 1 cup fresh milk, 2 tbsp sugar and I added 1/2 tsp vanilla
I would like to know the recipe for this pancake….thanks
Hi Weng, I’m sorry I don’t have the recipe for this kind of pancake but I do have other recipes for pancakes.
Hi, can I ask for the recipe of this filipino street hotcake? I like the chewy kind of hotcake just like what we buy in streetfood & palengke. Thanks
Hi, if I may I would like to try your recipe. Please share me your recipe.
