This soup is good as a meal itself or a snack because its very filling. And no canned corn please, fresh is better.
PrintShrimp and Corn Soup

Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 med onion,chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 corns, shredded
- 300g shrimp, peeled
- 6c water
- 1 pc shrimp cube
- 1 cup chili leaves
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot.Sauté garlic and onion until onion becomes transluscent.
- Add shrimp and sauté for a few seconds until shrimp becomes half-cooked.
- Add water and shredded corn.Simmer until corn is done.
- Add shrimp cubes and stir.
- Add chili leaves.Simmer for around 30 seconds.
- Serve hot.

I remember when my friend made something like this for me…but with chicken! It was SO good, I drank 7 bowls of it! and then suffered a realllllly bloated stomach after, haha!
