Things to bring home from Batangas

We stopped over at San Juan Pasalubong Center to buy some pasalubong or homecoming treats.

Pasalubong, in general, is a “gift for a relation or friend brought by” a “traveler returning from a trip,” and could also refer to “anything given as a gift to someone on the way home to a certain place.” (Source: Wikipedia)

Fish Paste and Pickled Papaya (Atsara)
Peanut Patties
Lambanog -Apple Flavor
Lambanog is coconut wine or coconut vodka The drink is distilled from the sap of the unopened coconut flower and is particularly potent, having a typical alcohol content of 80 to 90 proof after a single distillation, but may go as high as 166 proof after the second distillation.”(Source: Wikipedia)

Different kinds of key chains
Native Hats
Fans and slippers made from Abaca
I bought Chocolate Balls that’s cooked into hot chocolate and Uraro, bite-sized tapioca cookies for my ILs and snack swap partner. I also bought a refrigerator magnet and a coin purse in the shape of a slipper for my snack swap partner.
Hmmnn..I wonder what the chocolate balls taste like?
