Pizza Kabobs | www.thepeachkitchen.com

It’s been one heck of a week full of pizza, did you notice?

It all started out last wednesday when I made that Blooming Pizza Bread, followed by that really cool Shakey’s App that let’s you order on your mobile phone, then that new galactic Cheeseburger Pizza from Pizza Hut. I was planning on closing this pizza-crazed week with something from Domino’s Pizza and I was checking out the discount codes  on  couponraja.com/dominos-pizza.html, unfortunately I found out that the nearest Domino’s is two hours away from where I live and they don’t deliver here. I guess, I’ll just have to save Domino’s for next week, then.

Now, I’ve decided to just cap off this pizza-filled week with this Pizza Kabobs….

You know I love anything on a stick. Remember that BLG {Bacon-Lettuce-Grape} Sandwich…….On a Stick ? It just feeds your eyes before it even feeds your mouth…and food that not only tastes pretty but looks pretty as well is something that lingers even after you’ve eaten it.

You can probably call this deconstructed pizza or pizza on a stick but I’m sticking to my guns, let’s call them Pizza Kabobs.

This is a nice way to get kids excited about eating pizza. Not that they get excited about bell peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms, but they do love bread, sausage, pineapples, and cheese.

And what do you know, they were craving for pizza today too!

So we had a bit of a playtime pizza with these Pizza Kabobs. We threaded the ingredients they want on their sticks, lay them on a baking sheet, sprinkled it with lots of mozzarella cheese and baked it until the cheese melted. Then this was dipped into a ready-made sweet style pizza sauce for that ‘pizza taste’.

Do this if you have pizza-loving kids at home. Or quirky pizza-loving adults like me…
