To compensate for not having peanutbutter♥ for three years now during the most important day in my life — which is my birthday– I wanted to go on a long drive. So we went to Tagaytay and planned on eating at Pig Out in Nuvali later in the evening.
However by dinner time, seems like Pig Out isn’t the best choice for me so we opted to eat at Italianni’s instead.
We had Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio {₱625}, a dip made of spinach, artichoke and mushroom in a blend of creamy, gooey cheeses that is served with garlic bread. This is actually enough to make me full.
Ykaie and I shared a glass of Pineapple Shake while Sis had Grape Shake, something she always order when on the menu.
I think this is one of the new things on Italianni’s menu, the Four Seasons Salad{₱500+} composed of romaine lettuce, fruits and shrimp coated in a sweet-tangy sauce.
Something I always order when on the menu is Pasta Al Nero{₱395} because of my love for all dishes with squid and squid ink. However, even though this pasta dish is laden with lots of calamari, shrimp, clams, and mussels I was looking for the squid-ink flavor. The sauce was black but it tasted briny, almost like it was pomodoro.
Yay! I am wearing RED. I seldom wear this color… I only wear this either during my birthday or Christmas..hahahaha
Herb-Roasted Chicken {₱450} for the kids. What else?
Tita Eva and Gab-gab
My Birthday cake — a slice of Red Velvet Cheesecake.
It was a great day. I was tired from driving. There were a lot of noise. I swear I’m gonna spend my birthday next year in a Spa or anywhere quiet and there’s world peace…LOL!
Best birthday song ever… I just wish they didn’t sing it in the car while I was driving.
Next year, you sing it when I have a cake in front of me, okay kids?

What a simple yet memorable celebration! Wish you had a driver on your birthday, though. 😉
