I must’ve seen this joint a hundred times and I’ve been wanting to try it since it opened. There was no other perfect time than yesterday because we wanted to eat someplace we’ve never tried before.
I love Yellow Cab Pizza, since this is owned by the same company, I already knew I’m going to love their food.
Ykaie was eating cotton candy
The restaurant is located at the Sky Garden in SM North EDSA, so it was Al fresco dining for big groups but if you’re alone, you can go inside the small restaurant and there’s a bar like table and bar stools there for you. Army Navy has a simple and clean theme, after all everything in the army should be simple and clean.
Soft Tacos with Steak {P145/$3.30}
Three small soft flour tortillas filled with meat, onions and cilantro. It was served with salsa, a garlic-mayo sauce and a slice of lime. I ordered it with extra cheese for P25 and instead of steak, you can also order it with chicken or carnitas {pork}. Being the beef lover that I am, I loved their soft taco.
LiberTea Iced Tea {P45/$1.03}
This is perfect brewed iced tea with its hint of lemon and just the right amount of sweetness. My sister who doesn’t like brewed iced tea even ordered one after taking a sip in my order.
Starving Sailor Sandwich with Steak {P225/$5.17}
An 8-inch toasted sourdough bread filled with thinly sliced Rib Eye Steak, green bell pepper, salsa, Jalapeño-cheese spread and caramelized onions . I swear, if I haven’t eaten enough already, I could’ve easily eaten one of these. Everything in this sandwich is delicious and you can also order it with chicken instead of steak.
Another wonderful thursday night…
