There are four choices for the complimentary breakfast at Club Balai Isabel. One of them is the Filipino Breakfast which is composed of garlic rice, egg, juice, coffee or tea and a choice between Tapa, Chicken Tocino, Pork Tocino, Longganisa, Daing na Bangus and Daing na Biya.
I don’t know if the brewed coffee they served was Batangas Barako Coffee but it tasted really, really good. It was served with muscovado sugar and creamer which enhanced the coffee’s flavor.
The Filipino Breakfast is normally priced at P195/$4.43. I chose Beef Tapa. The taste was just like any other beef tapa, nothing special.
Sis chose Longganisa…
Kakay went for the Daing na Bangus..
Since Roman was having an upset stomach, he opted for the Healthy Breakfast, which includes pancakes and…
…Oats cooked in non-fat milk and mango.
Ykaie wasn’t included in the complimentary breakfast. She wanted Spaghetti with Pesto[P200/$4.50],so I ordered one for her. It tasted a little bland, like it didn’t have any parmesan cheese in it. So I sprinkled a little salt and it tasted better.
She ended up eating almost half of the plateful of pasta…
